Privacy Policy

Our Promise

TrendBody is built on a simple principle: your health data belongs to you and only you. We have no servers, no accounts, and no way to access your information.

What Data TrendBody Accesses

TrendBody integrates with Apple HealthKit to read and write the following data types:

  • Body Mass (weight) — read and write. TrendBody reads your weight measurements to compute your trend line, and can write manual entries back to HealthKit.
  • Menstrual Cycle data — read only (Pro feature). Used to adjust trend filtering for hormonal weight fluctuations. This data is never written or modified.

Where Your Data Is Stored

All TrendBody data is stored exclusively on your device:

  • SwiftData — your weight entries, trend calculations, and settings are stored in an on-device database.
  • Keychain — purchase status is stored securely in the device Keychain.
  • iCloud — if you have iCloud enabled, your data may sync to your personal iCloud account via Apple's encrypted infrastructure. We have no access to your iCloud data.
  • Device independence — each device runs its own copy of TrendBody with its own data. Your weight entries, trend calculations, and settings do not sync between devices. If HealthKit data syncs through iCloud, each device computes its trend independently from the shared measurements.

What We Do NOT Collect

TrendBody does not collect, transmit, or store:

  • Personal information (name, email, phone number)
  • Analytics or usage data from the app
  • Advertising identifiers or tracking data
  • Crash reports (unless you opt in via Apple's system)
  • Any health data on external servers

We have no servers. There is no account creation. There is no data to breach because we never have it.

Website Analytics

This website (trendbody.app) uses Vercel Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. No cookie consent banner is needed.

Third-Party Services

The TrendBody app does not integrate with any third-party services, advertising networks, or analytics platforms. The only external integration is Apple HealthKit, governed by Apple's privacy framework.

Data Deletion

To delete all your data, delete TrendBody from your device. Since all data is stored locally, uninstalling the app permanently removes it. To delete weight entries from Apple Health, open the Health app directly. For any other requests, contact support@trendbody.app.

Family Sharing

TrendBody supports Apple Family Sharing for the Pro purchase. This shares purchase access only — health data is never shared between family members.

Children

TrendBody is not designed for or directed at children under the age of majority in their jurisdiction (typically 18 in most countries). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We will post any changes to this privacy policy on this page with an updated revision date. Since we collect no contact information, we cannot notify users directly — please check back periodically.
